I first posted this blessing by Joyce Rupp<\/strong> in a post entitled Looking forward looking back<\/a> in the last days of 2018, on the threshold of a new year. Rereading the words today, I think they are well worth adopting as a blessing for all our days \/ all our tomorrows.\n<\/p>\n

Blessing … for today … tomorrow … whenever<\/h3>\n

 
\nI hope for you … <\/p>\n

… that the single, most significant dimension of life
\nis your relationship with the Source of Goodness
\nwho never ceases to sing love songs to your soul<\/p>\n

… that you find meaning, purpose, and vitality
\nin what you do daily<\/p>\n

… that you treasure your loved ones
\nand let them know how dear they are to you<\/p>\n

… that you make choices and decisions
\nthat reflect your truest self<\/p>\n

… that you look in the mirror at least once a day
\nand smile in happy amazement<\/p>\n

… that you remember relationships are what count above all else \u2013
\nmore than work or money,
\nor all the material things we spend so much time tending<\/p>\n

… that you live in an uncluttered manner,
\nenjoying the freedom to be content<\/p>\n

… that you keep your sense of humor
\nwhen things don\u2019t go the way you want<\/p>\n

… that you find adventure in each new day
\nand marvel at the wonders of creation
\nwhich constantly present themselves to you<\/p>\n

… that you never give up on yourself
\nwhen others turn away or do not understand<\/p>\n

… that you are attentive to the health
\nof your body, mind and spirit<\/p>\n

… that you take risks and accept
\nthe growth-full challenges that come to you<\/p>\n

… that you draw on your inner strength and resiliency
\nwhen you are in need<\/p>\n

… that you carry peace within yourself,
\nallowing it to slip into the hearts of others
\nso our planet becomes a place
\nwhere violence, division, and war are no more<\/p>\n
