A litany<\/h3>\n

All good gifts around us are sent from heaven above,
\nso we lift our hearts up to you, God,
\nin praise and thanksgiving.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As we count our blessings, and acknowledge your goodness,
\nour hearts go out to those who do not have,
\nand who are in need.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We thank you for plentiful harvests and full refrigerators
\nand ask that you supply the needs of those who are hungry.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We thank you for jobs that provide for our families
\nand supply the needs of our society,
\nand pray that you would care for those who have no work,
\nor the dignity and purpose it brings.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We thank you for opportunities and choices,
\nfor meaning and challenges,
\nand pray that you would give a sense of purpose
\nto those who feel trapped.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We thank you for family and friends who love us and care for us
\nand pray that you would befriend those who are alone.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The abundance of the harvest
\nis a symbol of the abundance of your love in our lives.
\nMay we live in a spirit of gratitude to you
\nand generosity to our neighbour.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Loving God, in this season and all year long,
\ngive to us the gift of a thankful heart,
\nso that we may acknowledge you as the giver
\nof all that is good in our lives.<\/strong><\/p>\n
