“And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern<\/strong> what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ \u2013 to the glory and praise of God.” <\/div>\n

Here are 3 prayers for discernment – to better hear God’s gentle whisper (1 Kings 19:12<\/a>) and weigh up what is good and right and worthy of the gospel of Christ (Philippians 1:27<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Teach me, dear Lord,
\nthe value and importance of all things,
\nso that I may discern and follow Your will.
\nProtect me from those who would harm me
\nand give me wisdom in dealing with them.
\nKeep me steadfast in my desire to worship You
\n      and learn from You;
\nto the praise of Your name.
