(inspired by Isaiah 35:1-10<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Listen\u2013all creation rejoices, can you hear it?
\nThere is so much noise and chatter, are you sure there is music?<\/strong>
\nListen\u2013the wilderness and desert are breaking out in song, can you hear it?
\nIt\u2019s been so long since we\u2019ve heard a melody of praise.<\/strong>
\nListen\u2013the crocus blooms with joyful singing,
\n      the very mountains join in the refrain. Can you hear it?
\nWe join our voices in hope,
\n      worshipping our God who brings forth a new song in the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Opening Prayer<\/h3>\n

Life-giving God, we are a blessed people.
\nIn this moment of worship we pray that you might bless us anew.
\nGive us ears to hear the melodies of praise that fill the world around us.
\nAnd as we hear the songs,
\n      teach us to sing,
\n      to dance with abandon,
\n      to rejoice in the wonders of your grace.
\nForgive us when we have passed by signs of your mercy.
\nFrom this moment forward,
\n      open our eyes to the places where joy is springing
\n      up from parched ground.
\nLead us by your Spirit in the pathways of your overflowing
\n      peace, hope, and joy.
\nAmen.<\/strong><\/p>\n
