Here are 3 brief prayers for courage to aid you in your prayers as you bring your hopes and fears before God.<\/p>\n

Note: I’ve called this post 3 More prayers for courage<\/em> as I already had a post entitled 3 Prayers for courage<\/a>, posted in September 2020 when the theme of the month was “Threshold”.
\n <\/p>\n\n

#1<\/h3>\n

\u201cJesus came and stood among them and said, \u2018Peace be with you.\u2019
\nAfter he said this, he showed them his hands and his side.\u201d (John 20:19-20<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n

Living God,
\nYou appeared to your disciples in their hour of fear,
\nand offered them your peace to still their hearts.
\nMay we open our arms
\nto be living hope in the world today,
\nbringing peace to those living in fear.
\nGive us courage to be bold in sharing what we believe;
\nmay we hold firm to your promise of life and hope,
\nand strive for a new world,
\nfree from poverty, injustice and conflict. <\/p>\n
