\nKeep the burning of my desire for you
\nas clear and steady as the flame of this candle
\n– a single, undivided focus of attention,
\na steady offering of the will.
\nLet my whole being be filled with Your light
\nso that others may be drawn to You.
\nLet my whole being be cleansed by the flame of Your love
\nfrom all that is contrary to Your will for me …
