\nA big thank you to the Scots Kirk Lausanne<\/a> who summoned me to the mountains last weekend to conduct a workshop on the Psalms: Prayer book, Songbook and God’s Word<\/strong>, with a special focus on Psalm 121.
\n 
\nWherever you are – whether there are mountains in sight or not – may you experience the Lord’s nearness; know that “the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and for evermore”. (Psalm 121:8<\/a>)

Prayer: Thanks Be to the Lord<\/h3>\n

For those who have watched over me,
\nfor those that have protected me,
\nfor those that have shielded me,
\nthanks be to the Lord,
\nmaker of heaven and earth.<\/p>\n

For the roof that shades me from the sun,
\nfor the walls that shield me from the storm,
\nfor the bed that warms me in the night,
\nthanks be to the Lord,
\nmaker of heaven and earth.<\/p>\n

To the one who keeps me from evil,
\nto the one who preserves my life,
\nto the one who watches over my coming and going,
\nthanks be to the Lord,
\nmaker of heaven and earth.<\/p>\n
