A Creed – the God who reigns<\/h3>\n

I believe in God,
\nthe<\/em> God,
\nthe only<\/em> God,
\nwho created everything
\nand reigns as King
\nover earth, sky, and water,
\nSovereign and Holy,
\nand yet revealing Himself
\nin the intimacy of the name
\n\u201cFather\u201d.
\nHe reigns over the nations;
\nHe is seated on his holy throne.
\nPsalm 47:8<\/em><\/p>\n

And I believe in Jesus Christ,
\nthe Son<\/em>,
\nthe only-begotten<\/em> Son
\nwhose reign began
\nin the weakness of a manger-bed,
\nconceived by the Spirit
\nand born of a virgin,
\nwho reigned
\neven while nailed to a cross of wood;
\nwho died and rose again, ascended and will come again.
\nHe will reign forever;
\nand his kingdom will never end.
\nLuke 1:33<\/em><\/p>\n

And I believe in the Spirit,
\nthe Holy<\/em> Spirit,
\nthe Spirit of God<\/em>
\nwho as God Himself
\nbrings the presence of God
\nand extends the reign of God
\nin every believer and throughout the world,
\nwho ever directs hearts
\nto our Lord and Savior,
\nso that grace might reign \u2026
\nto bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
