Prayer of Confession<\/h3>\n

(inspired by Matthew 25:31-46<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n

God of the people,
\nyou have called us to walk humbly before you
\nand to share in the struggle with the least of these,
\nyet we have failed to live up to this call.
\nToday, we come before you
\nasking your Spirit to empower us
\nto be agents of transformation for the world.
\nMake us a chalice from which all the oppressed
\ncan find the living waters of God,
\nwho calls us to live a life of service, of humility,
\nand of reconciliation with you, with creation,
\nand with the world. Amen.
\n
