Here are 3 prayers for those who took a stand against injustice and pay the price.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n\n

#1<\/h3>\n

Lord, I pray for my brothers and sisters
\nwho are in prison because of their stand against injustice,
\nand for all the other people who have ‘disappeared’.
\nI pray for those undergoing torture;
\nLord, give them strength, and the sense that they are not alone.
\nIn particular I hold before you
\nthose who believe that the world has forgotten them.
\nMay they know that there are people who care,
\nand who are praying for them.
\nJesus, arrested and tortured yourself,
\nbe with them now,
\nand hold them in your wounded hands.<\/p>\n
