“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.”<\/div>\n

Prayer<\/h3>\n

O God, our Master in heaven,
\nmake us fair and just in our dealings with others;
\nkeep us persistent in prayer for them,
\nalert to their needs,

\nopen doors for us to proclaim the message about the secret of Christ;
\nhelp us to speak as we should, to make it clear.
\nKeep us wise in the way we act towards those who do not believe,
\nhelp us always to make good use of every opportunity we have;
\nlet our conversation be attractive and inspiring,
\nand teach us how to give the right answer to everyone,
