Holy Spirit of God,
\ngreat gift of our exalted Lord,
\non the day of Pentecost you came to the Church
\nas he promised, to abide with us for ever.<\/p>\n

Come to us in your grace and power today,
\nto make Jesus real to us,
\nto teach us more about him,
\nand to deepen our trust in him;
\nthat we may be changed into his likeness
\nand be his witnesses in the world,
