\nWe have different gifts,
\n        according to the grace given to each of us. <\/p>\n

If your gift is prophesying,
\n        then prophesy in accordance with your faith;
\nif it is serving,
\n        then serve;
\nif it is teaching,
\n        then teach;
\nif it is to encourage,
\n        then give encouragement;
\nif it is giving,
\n        then give generously;
\nif it is to lead,
\n        do it diligently;
\nif it is to show mercy,
\n        do it cheerfully.<\/p><\/div>\n

Prayer of Confession<\/h3>\n

God you have given each of us many gifts,
\nbut sometimes we cannot recognize
\nwhat gift we have to share,
\nso we hide it under a bushel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

God you remind us that all gifts are needed,
\nbut sometimes we let ourselves be convinced
\nthat some gifts are more special than others.<\/strong><\/p>\n

God you call us to work, to live, to love together as parts of one body,
\nbut sometimes we decide that membership in the body
\nis limited by our understandings.<\/strong><\/p>\n

God, for the times we have ignored or mislabeled Your gifts,
\nfor those times we have cut another off from the body,
\nWe offer words of repentance,
\nwe ask for forgiveness and grace.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Words of Assurance\/Forgiveness<\/h3>\n

God is the giver of MANY gifts.
\nGod is the Creator of the ONE body.
\nGod is slow to anger and quick to forgive.
\nGod helps us to share and honour the gifts of all,
\nGod helps us to heal the wounds and reunite the body.
\nWe are forgiven, loved, and accepted.
