\nSearching the Scriptures for a reference to “deep”, I stumbled on Daniel 2<\/a> and Daniel’s prayer after God gifted him with knowledge and wisdom and revealed to him “deep and hidden things” that saved many lives and brought God glory. <\/p>\n

Prayer in response to answered prayer<\/h3>\n

During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven 20<\/sup> and said:<\/p>\n

\u201cPraise be to the name of God for ever and ever;
\n      wisdom and power are his.
\n21<\/sup> He changes times and seasons;
\n      he deposes kings and raises up others.
\nHe gives wisdom to the wise
\n      and knowledge to the discerning.
\n22<\/sup> He reveals deep and hidden things;
\n      he knows what lies in darkness,
\n      and light dwells with him.”<\/p>\n

Daniel 2:20-22<\/a><\/div>\n

\nMay God give you knowledge and wisdom regarding the “deep and hidden things” you face, and may we all be faithful in following Paul’s “urgent” advice in 1 Timothy 2:1-4<\/a>: <\/p>\n

“1<\/sup> I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people \u2014 2<\/sup> for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3<\/sup> This is good, and pleases God our Saviour, 4<\/sup> who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”
