\nDeuteronomy 11:26-28<\/a>
\n\u2018See, I am setting before you today<\/strong> a blessing and a curse \u2013 the blessing if you obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today<\/strong>; the curse if you disobey the commands of the Lord your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known.\u2019\n<\/div>\n

 
\nAs with yesterday’s devotion we are in the world of the Exodus and the next footsteps will touch the Promised Land. But before God’s people is a decision, the consequence of which will result in either a blessing or a curse. It is worth noting that the word ‘known’ here suggests an intimate knowledge of someone rather than an intellectual awareness. Other gods do not know God’s people like God does, so the choice should be easy, yes?<\/p>\n

Reflection
\nOur ‘today’ choices will have future consequences.<\/p>\n\n
