\nBut as surely as God is faithful,
\nour message to you is not \u201cYes\u201d and \u201cNo.\u201d
\nFor the Son of God,
\nJesus Christ,
\nwho was preached among you by us \u2014
\nby me and Silas and Timothy \u2014
\nwas not \u201cYes\u201d and \u201cNo,\u201d
\nbut in him it has always been \u201cYes.\u201d
\nFor no matter how many promises God has made,
\nthey are \u201cYes\u201d in Christ.<\/span>
\nAnd so through him the \u201cAmen\u201d is spoken by us
\nto the glory of God.

Discerning God,
\nhelp me consider this day
\nhow I live my life

\nready to say \u2018Yes, yes\u2019 and \u2018No, no\u2019 at the same time?<\/em> (2 Corinthians 1:17<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Discriminating God,
\nhelp me understand
\nhow crucial are the words I speak to others
\nas I seek relationships in my life.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet your \u2018Yes\u2019 be your yes
\nand your \u2018No,\u2019 no,
\nor you will be condemned.\u201d<\/em> (James 5:12<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Disturbing God,
\nhelp me find clarity in my relationship with you,
\nwith others, and maybe especially with myself.<\/p>\n

Let your word be ‘Yes, Yes’ or ‘No, No’:
