The LORD upholds all those who fall
\nand lifts up all who are bowed down.<\/em> (Psalm 145:14<\/a>)<\/p>\n

God of love
\nhear the cry of those who yearn for love;
\nfractured families, broken homes
\nneglected, unwanted, alone.
\nGod of love
\nhear our prayer<\/strong><\/p>\n

God of justice
\nhear the cry of those who yearn for justice;
\npersecuted and oppressed,
\nexploited, ill-treated, broken.
\nGod of justice
\nhear our prayer<\/strong><\/p>\n

God of peace
\nhear the cry of those who yearn for peace;
\nin battle zones and broken states,
\nfrightened, fearful, anxious
\nGod of peace
\nhear our prayer<\/strong><\/p>\n

God of healing
\nhear the cry of those who yearn for healing;
\nphysical and spiritual
\nhurting, weakened, depressed
\nGod of healing
\nhear our prayer<\/strong><\/p>\n

God of mercy
\nHear the cry of those who yearn for mercy;
\nconvicted, in need of your Grace,
\ncontrite, humble, bowed down,
\nGod of mercy
\nhear our prayer<\/strong><\/p>\n

I love the LORD, for he heard my voice;
\nhe heard my cry for mercy.
\nBecause he turned his ear to me,
