As mentioned in an earlier post<\/a>, 25 November 2017 has been earmarked as a National Day of Prayer for the Church of Scotland, as part of a year-long call for prayer under the banner of Together We Pray<\/a>. You too are invited to stand with us and remember the Church of Scotland in your prayers at this time.<\/p>\n

Pray for the decision makers<\/strong>
\nPray for the dreamers<\/strong> and the visionaries<\/strong>
\nPray for the prophets<\/strong> and the peace makers<\/strong>
\nPray for the listeners<\/strong> and the talkers<\/strong>
\nPray for the thinkers<\/strong> and the doers<\/strong>
\nPray for the shouters<\/strong> and the whisperers<\/strong>
\nPray for young<\/strong> and the old<\/strong>
\nPray for the rural<\/strong> and the urban<\/strong> communities<\/p>\n

A prayer for the church<\/h3>\n

God of our past, present and future, we seek direction for the life of our Church and for ourselves, and remember that all concerns and anxieties should be placed within Your hand. <\/p>\n

Where we have heard Your voice may we step into the future that appears with all the uncertainties and unknowns to be explored. <\/p>\n

Keep our eyes open to places of need, and our ears open to the call to new ways of being Your people.<\/p>\n
