If you were not risen,
\nLord Christ, to whom would we go
\nto discover a radiance
\nof the face of God?<\/p>\n

If you were not risen,
\nwe would not be together
\nseeking your communion.
\nWe would not find in your presence
\nforgiveness,
\nwellspring of a new beginning.<\/p>\n

If you were not risen,
\nwhere would we draw the energy
\nfor following you
\nright to the end of our existence,
\nfor choosing you again and anew?<\/p>\n
