A prayer<\/h3>\n

In his book, The Open Gate<\/em>, David Adam has a section entitled “Candle prayers”. Here is one that works both as a morning prayer and an evening prayer. <\/p>\n

Creator of light,
\nthe blessing of light be upon us –
\nthe blessing of daylight,
\nthe blessing of sunlight,
\nthe blessing of Christ light.
\nScatter the darkness from before us
\nthat we may walk as children of light.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
