A prayer<\/h3>\n

How can I tell of such love to me?
\nYou made me in your image
\nand hold me in the palm of your hand,
\nyour cords of love, strong and fragile as silk,
\n      bind me and hold me.
\nRich cords, to family and friends,
\nmusic and laughter echoing in memories,
\nlight dancing on the water, hills rejoicing.
\nCords that found me hiding behind carefully built walls
\n      and led me out,
\nlove that heard my heart break and despair and rescued me,
\nlove that overcame my fears and doubts and released me.
\nThe questions and burdens I carry you take,
\nto leave my hands free – to hold yours, and others,
\nfree to follow your cords as they move
\nand swirl in the breeze,
\nfree to be caught up in the dance of your love,
\nfinding myself in surrendering to you.
\nHow can I tell of such love?
\nHow can I give to such love?
