Pentecost Prayer<\/h3>\n

Breath of God,
\nSpirit who appeared like a driving wind,
\nblow away our prejudice
\nand teach us to value all people.<\/p>\n

Spirit of God,
\nwho appeared like tongues of flame,
\nburn in us as a passion for justice
\nand a commitment to change.<\/p>\n

Spirit of life,
\nwho caused the disciples to speak in tongues,
\nspeak through us,
\nand fill us with the courage to proclaim your love.<\/p>\n

Spirit of truth,
\nwho fills us with wonder and awe,
\ninspire us to work for a better world
\nand a future where injustice is swept away.
