A. SONG<\/strong><\/p>\n

Holy Spirit come
\nMake my eyes to see
\nMake my ears to hear
\nMake my mouth to speak
\nMake my heart to seek
\nand my hands to reach out
\nand touch the world with your love. <\/p>\n

B. CALL TO WORSHIP<\/strong> <\/p>\n

We come in faith to worship Christ <\/strong>
\nwho proclaims good news to the poor,
\nbinds up the broken-hearted,
\nfrees the prisoner
\nand comforts those who mourn. <\/p>\n

We come in thanksgiving to worship Christ<\/strong>
\nwho bestows a crown of beauty
\ninstead of ashes,
\nthe oil of joy instead of mourning,
\nand a garment of praise
\ninstead of a spirit of despair. <\/p>\n

We come in hope to worship Christ<\/strong>
\nwho rebuilds ancient ruins
\nand restores broken places. <\/p>\n

C. PRAYER OF CONFESSION<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Creator God,\u202f
\nYou created the earth, whole and round;\u202f
\nYou created us to be whole people.
\nBut we have become fragmented,
\ncracked and broken.\u202f <\/p>\n

We have been broken by false promises,\u202f
\nlost relationships, shattered trust.\u202f
\nWe have become cracked with the experience of systemic sin:\u202f
\nprejudice, oppression and fear.\u202f <\/p>\n

We have become fragmented,\u202f
\nbuilding up walls
\ninstead of lending hands.\u202f <\/p>\n

Forgive us when we have
\ndone the breaking,\u202f
\nheal us where we have been hurt.\u202f <\/p>\n

Let Your light shine
\nthrough our cracks and scars\u202f
\nso that we might bring light to the world,\u202f
\nshowing that in You we are made whole.\u202f <\/p>\n

In You we find healing.\u202f
\nIn You we find renewed life.\u202f

To heal the sick,
