A prayer<\/h3>\n

Lord,
\nin the midst of Winter,
\nwhen the days are cold and wind can pierce
\n…. remind us of the warmth of your love.<\/p>\n

In the midst of Winter,
\nwhen days are short, dawn comes late, and dusk arrives early
\n…. remind us that in the darkness your light still shines.<\/p>\n

In the midst of Winter,
\nwhen the flowers of spring still lie hidden in the earth,
\nwhen leaves are off the trees,
\nand the world can seem bleak
\n…. remind us that Easter is but a short time away.<\/p>\n

And when in our lives
\nwe feel as if we are experiencing a season of winter,
\nreach out to us with the power of your resurrection
\nso that we may feel the warmth of your love
\nand see your light
\nthat alone can take away the darkness of our soul.
\nAmen<\/p>\n
