A Prayer<\/h3>\n

We may not be able to confront queens,
\n    or challenge presidents;
\nWe may not have the capacity to divert resources,
\n    or uplift communities;
\nWe may not have the voice to silence the noise of war,
\n    or the words to negotiate peace between armies;
\nBut, as we follow you, O Christ, we are able to do something.<\/p>\n

And so, we pray that you would inspire us
\n    to commit to and act on
\n        the small difference we can make:
\nMay we bring peace
\n    through small acts of gentleness
\n        and reconciliation;
\nMay we bring wealth
\n    through small contributions
\n        and collaborations;
\nMay we bring safety
\n    through small acts of consideration
\n        and acceptance;
\nMay we bring wholeness
\n    through small acts of care
\n        and service.<\/p>\n

And in the small ways, O God,
\n    may our small difference make a big contribution
\n        to your saving work in our world.<\/p>\n
