Welcome to my website, which features articles related to the songwriting process, as well as songs for you to enjoy and use in your local context.

Autumn 2021 I stayed at Dutch L'Abri for two weeks to write songs, in lieu of a 5-day songwriting retreat in Stratford-upon-Avon I couldn't attend due to Covid travel restrictions. I've called the collection of songs I wrote or started at L'Abri, Remember.

Check out my communion song, Surely goodness and mercy, written in summer 2018, as well as my version of the Apostle's Creed, I believe in God - an attempt to breath new life into these ancient words by adding a singable melody and a coda. I also included an article describing how the song "I believe in God" came to be written.

Besides songs with an overtly Christian theme, I also write 'regular' songs. You can listen to recordings of some of these songs I made with my band, Two Doors Down, on www.twodoorsdownband.com.
