1. The Passover Lamb prepared for the fray
His mission almost done
He entered the garden, he needed to pray
The battle had come

2. There in the garden his sweat was as blood
There he surrendered his will
There he accepted the cup of death
He drank his fill

3. The shadow of victory stood in the wings
The olive grove grew awfully still
Facing the darkness, his love took shape
A cross on a hill

4. The onslaught of evil would not overcome
The power of his love would not fail
The choice had been made, His blood would flow
But love would prevail
