The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone …
(Psalm 118:22)
rejected, despised, set aside
who knew?
God has chosen you
to serve as His choice, chief,
prized and precious
cornerstone
God knows
you alone
can carry the weight
of promise and potential pitfalls
as we, as living stones,
are selected, shaped and placed
in holy, priestly community
with you and one another
the Lord has done this,
and it is marvellous in our eyes
